On this website I’d like to share my own experiences with the OpenBSD operating system with others.
I wanted a stable server operating system which should be Secure By Default(tm). Of course with multi tasking, multi user and network capabilities. And my choice fell on OpenBSD.. of course (-:
Because I don’t have any fancy hardware nor resources to buy them, I will not cover any topics related to SCSI, CPUs other than the i386, etc.
Update: as of May 2001, I kicked Linux of my workstation and put FreeBSD on the smoking remains.. So I think I’ll create some FreeBSD content in some form here too, but this time workstation centered.
You can actually help with questions! If certain topics are not covered or not clear to you, don’t you dare hesitate to email me about it. Submit those questions, so that the quality and usefulness of this site –to you and to others– gets better!
